This sculpture, which has already become a symbol of the port city, is dressed in a warm winter coat.

 

Almost a decade ago, we present this sculpture to the city, and during this time, Klaipėda's residents have grown to love it and have adorned it with a variety of cosy accents: gloves, a colourful bracelet, a necklace, a cap, etc. 

 

"This sculpture is very dear to us, as it symbolises who we are as Klaipėda residents: the wind and the ships, the lagoon and the sea, the faces and the people. As we approach the most beautiful holidays of the year, we have decided to contribute to the decoration of the symbol and thus help to create an even more beautiful, cosy and lovely Klaipėda, dear to all of us", says Vaidotas Šileika, General Director of Klaipėda Container Terminal, UAB.

 

For this winter's festivities, "Kiss" is decorated with a white fur coat with a hood.  According to V.Šileika, the warm and cosy Christmas outfit was sewn by the mother of the HR Manager of Klaipėda Terminal Group, UAB, which only confirmed the rule that we can create a festive mood and positive emotions with small but very important deeds.
