Permits

The issue of permits is subject to the procedure of providing personal data, defined in the ‘Rules of entering the territory of the port users’, certified by the Order No. V-238, issued on 16 December 2015 by the Director General of the Public Institution Klaipėda State Seaport Authority.

Procedures for issuing permits

Applications for new permits are accepted by email: vbs@terminalas.lt The application must contain personal data by category. You will collect your permits from the arrivals desk of the container terminal (Perkėlos g. 8, Klaipėda) upon presentation of your ID to the Pre-Gate operators.

For drivers transporting containers
For freight forwarders, managers, etc. who do not transport cargo to the terminal
  • Surname, First name

  • Name of the company you represent

  • Passport or ID card number

  • Job title (driver, etc.)

  • Photo (.jpg format)

  • Driver's phone number No. (you will receive sms messages about container drop-off locations, etc.)

  • The first issue of a permit is free of charge

  • Replacement of the permit if the card is lost will cost EUR 41 + VAT

  • Surname, First name

  • Automobilio markė ir valstybiniai numeriai

  • Passport or ID card number

  • Name of the company you represent

  • Job title (freight forwarder, etc.)

  • Photo (.jpg format)

  • For persons who have a 2024 permit, we will issue the new format permit once free of charge. Other permits will be issued at the 2024 permit rates

Temporary permits

•Temporary permits are issued by the Pre-Gate operator

•A temporary permit can be issued for 1 year

•All permits are linked with the vehicle driver, who will be issued a permit card

•A temporary permit card can be issued for free only once

• A replacement of a lost permit card will cost EUR 41

One-time permits
  • One-time permits are issued by Pre-Gate operators

  • Without a temporary permit, the issue of a one-time permit upon arrival to the terminal will be subject to a fee

  • A one-time permit is used for a single visit to the terminal

  • A one-time permit must be returned to a security officer in the departure zone upon departure
