Kristupas Armonaitis, who has been working at our terminal for three years, is a planner and is not even thinking about any professional changes.

Energy security starts with proper preparation

We have successfully tested a 364 kW backup generator at the terminal, which will ensure that critical systems continue to operate even in the event of a power cut.

IT systems, site lighting, automatic gates and uninterrupted cargo handling - all of these are essential for ensuring the reliable and safe operation of the terminal.

“Business continuity is no accident - it is the result of consistent investment and responsible planning. Our aim is to ensure that the terminal operates reliably even under the most challenging conditions, enabling us to fulfil our commitments to customers and contribute to the reliability of infrastructure vital to national security,” says our CEO, Vaidotas Šileika.

At the same time, we are finalising preparations for the second generator, which will be allocated to our general cargo and Ro-Ro terminal. We are consistently strengthening the resilience of our infrastructure so that we are prepared to operate under any circumstances.
