Successful first LNG operation from a tanker truck to a ship

A significant milestone was reached at our terminal: for the first time in our history, the TT-Line ferry “Nils Holgersson” was refueled with liquefied natural gas (LNG).

In 1.5 hours, the ship was filled with 17 tons of LNG. This demonstrates the growing role of cleaner fuel solutions in maritime transport.

“We are proud that our terminal was able to serve as the venue for this operation. As the terminal operator, we ensured all necessary infrastructure, technical, and safety conditions so that this type of process could proceed smoothly and safely,” says our terminal manager, Vaidotas Šileika.
