In 2025, we invested nearly €6 million in handling equipment and infrastructure
Last year, we consistently implemented our approved investment plan and purchased new handling equipment and modernized our infrastructure for nearly €6 million. Currently, about 70% of the handling equipment at our terminal consists of modern equipment that has been in use for only 2-3 years.

We have invested nearly €2 million in new handling equipment, purchasing eight Linde forklifts, ten port tractors, a container handler (rotator), one Volvo wheel loader, and other smaller handling equipment. This is currently a record amount of equipment in the history of our terminal: since the beginning of our operations, we have never had such a large amount of handling equipment in our fleet.
"Constantly updated equipment allows us to maintain high standards of work efficiency and safety. By investing in modern equipment, we are strengthening the terminal's capacity and readiness to efficiently handle large cargo flows," says our terminal CEO Vaidotas Šileika.
We have invested €4 million in the renovation of the Ro-Ro and general cargo terminals. According to our manager V. Šileika, the warehouses at this terminal have been in service for more than 15 years, since 2010. Due to natural weather conditions, the roof and wall structures had worn out, so it was decided to invest in their renovation. We modernized 7 of the 24 warehouses we manage, replacing their roofs and walls, with a total renovated area of 20,000 square meters.
"In 2025, we also built a new warehouse for bulk cargo with a total area of 2,800 square meters, where we can store about 17 tons of cargo. The new infrastructure allows us to ensure modern cargo storage conditions, greater flexibility in planning cargo flows, and even better response to customer needs," says the manager.
The law firm Lowcorpus helped us with the legal processes involved in purchasing the new equipment.
"We are delighted to have been able to contribute to the successful completion of these purchases. In each case, a comprehensive legal risk analysis was performed, the equipment purchase and sale agreements were finalized, and the smooth execution of the transactions was ensured. It is gratifying to see how legal assistance contributes to business results in real terms," say representatives of Lowcorpus.
