We learn and grow with every cargo
KCT was visited by a specialist from the international company Liebherr Group, whose aim was to find out how we are getting on with our unique mobile crane in the Baltics.
The visiting expert not only assessed our knowledge, but also actively shared it himself to ensure that the new machinery was operated as efficiently as possible.
"The training, which lasted almost a week, was very productive. It gave our terminal crane operators and technicians a thorough introduction to the new equipment, its capabilities, functionality and the most efficient operating models for handling cargo," says Edvinas Juodis, the manager of our container terminal.
According to Edvin Juodis, during the training, the expert was convinced that our team is made up of highly professional employees who are well versed in the technology and are able to work competently with the new equipment. The expert's additional focus was on the new employees, who were 100% ready to work with the new equipment during the training week.
The mobile crane is unique in its power, with a lifting capacity of up to 154 t and a boom length of 54 m. It is the first of its kind in the Baltic States.
KCT is a member of the Klaipėda Terminal Group, a group of companies providing cargo handling, logistics, freight forwarding and ship agency services.
