2011 was a successful year
During 2011 KCT reloaded 2.98 mio tonnes of various cargo, which is 11% more than in 2010. The largest growth, 50% over previous year, was in the bulk and break-bulk sector.
Container throughput increased by 23% in 2011 and totalled to 223 953 TEU. KCT handled 59% of all containers shipped through the Port of Klaipeda and posessed a 25.3% market share in the Baltic States.
